This Sunday’s walk is the ‘old favourite’ the Tarmachan Ridge.
Meall nan Tarmachan is one of the easier Munros to reach in good weather thanks to a high level start point, but it is really just the start of a rocky ridge traverse which is one of the most interesting in the Southern Highlands. There is a short, avoidable scramble on the descent from Meall Garbh.
The weather forecast is looking promising so the views could be good but as always remember this is Scotland.
Parking is at the Ben Lawers car park (parking charge). Lets meet there at at 9.30 for a 10.00 start.
The usual carshare thing.
